W. Grant Boies, J.D.

Grant Boies is an Attorney and Shareholder at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC. He practices in oil & gas law, particularly in title opinions. Grant began his career in the oil & gas industry as an independent landman in Colorado, working on different title issues for brokerages, exploration and production companies, and firms in Denver.

Mr. Boies works with exploration and production companies, developing drilling and division order title opinions, and advises his clients on leasing, joint operating agreements, purchase and sale agreements, acquisitions, and other land related tasks.

In law school, Grant was awarded for his Pro Bono Service in 2011 and 2012 and was a National Water Law Conference Law Student Scholar Recipient. Also, Grant clerked for the Honorable Judge Jerry D. Bass in the Oklahoma City District Court, giving him experience working with the District Attorney’s Office, the Public Defender’s Office, and drafting judicial opinions. Before attending law school, Grant worked in sales, remodeling/construction, and commercial property management.

Grant is licensed to practice law in Colorado. He is based in the Denver, Colorado, office for Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC.
