Patrick Lindley is an Associate Attorney at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC. Mr. Lindley practices primarily oil and gas law and advises his clients on title issues, leasing, joint operating agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and other land related tasks.

Prior to joining Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC, Patrick worked for Arnold & Itkin, LLP, a premier litigation firm in located in Houston, Texas. There, Patrick’s practice focused primarily on representing injured persons in a variety of situations, including motor vehicle accident victims, property contamination victims and victims of industrial and workplace accidents. Patrick also has extensive experience working as a landman, specifically in the Texas and Louisiana areas.

Patrick Lindley is licensed to practice law in Texas and Louisiana and is based in the Houston, Texas office of Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC.

Prior Experience:

  • Arnold & Itkin, LLP: Associate Attorney

    • Handled motion appearances, oral arguments and conducted extensive legal research
    • Successfully led and managed the Intake department, resulting in the signing of thousands of clients
    • Instrumental in the settlement of hundreds of claims arising from the 2010 British Petroleum Oil Spill
  • R&O Energy, LLC: Petroleum Landman

    • Drafted oil and gas leases for the acquisition of mineral and surface ownership for potential drill sites
    • Created and prepared documents and exhibits with an emphasis on mineral ownership for legal counsel review
  • Talco Energy, LLC: Petroleum Landman

    • Selected and compiled formal land title documentation and prepared abstracts
    • Investigated and determined mineral ownership, leasehold ownership, and surface ownership acquisition
