Melinda Frazier is an Associate Attorney at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC with more than two decades of experience in energy and natural resources. With a professional background in energy transactions, Melinda is experienced in business development, contract negotiation, mitigation of business risk, and general compliance. Prior to joining Kearney, McWilliams, & Davis, PLLC, Melinda managed upstream financial and technical operations for oilfield service providers in the Bakken, Niobrara, and Uintah Basins. In addition, Melinda worked for the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she focused on administrative and regulatory issues related to downstream oil and gas operations.

Currently, Melinda is committed to facilitating development by assisting oil and gas companies engaged in upstream operations in the Powder River and DJ Basins. Her practice includes the drafting of drilling and division order title opinions, conducting due diligence, and advising clients on regulatory matters.

Beyond work, Melinda is an avid SCUBA diver and enjoys working on her family’s ranch in Wyoming.

Melinda Frazier is licensed to practice law in Wyoming. She is based in the Denver, Colorado, office of Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC.
