Clayton Wheat is an experienced oil and gas attorney from Sugar Land, Texas. He has partnered or worked for four nationally-recognized oil and gas firms in Houston, and also worked as a field landman in the Uintah Basin and Eagle Ford Shale.
Clayton’s practice focuses on advising oil and gas operators with all aspects of their upstream operations, with emphasis on leasing, acquisition issues, and title. Over the years, Clayton has developed a reputation for his ability to find solutions to meet the needs of both the legal and business-minded. As a result, he has become a trusted advisor to identify practical, efficient, and inexpensive fixes for operators’ everyday problems.
